Welcome to the Livorno Port Authority Vocational Training Centre.

The VTC is a Department of the Livorno Port Authority set up for providing solutions for the port sector market through developing and upgrading the port workers' skills, with the aim of helping the improvement of safety and quality standards in the operational services by acting on the key-factors of Vocational Training and Human Resources Development.
The areas on which the VTC operates (see Chapter VIII of the 2003/2005 Port Master Plan) are:

• Vocational Training (continuous; in-house; for youngs)
• Professional Guidance
• Transnational Cooperation with both EU and Mediterranean countries
• Studies, analysis and reports for planning training activities in the port sector
• Monitoring (through the so-called "Observatory") and evaluation of the training activities carried out by the port companies

All visitors are invited to navigate this site in order to gaining a better knowledge of the activities and the initiatives carried out by our VTC in the port, logistic and shipbuilding sectors.
